People today are in dire need of Dawah. There is a great reception for it as a reaction to the increasing number of callers to falsehood, the outburst of the communist methodology and a great revival amongst Muslims. So people today are turning to Islam, embracing it and increasing their understanding of it according to the news that we hear from around the world. I advise the scholars and all those who are involved in calling to Allah to take advantage of this opportunity and exert all their efforts in calling to Allah and teaching the people the reason for their creation; which is worshipping Allah, obeying him, reading His Book and so on. I advise them to engage in everything they possibly can, including delivering the jumuah khutbah along with other sermons during suitable occasions, authoring books and involving themselves with different types of media outlets such as radio, television and newspapers. It is upon the scholars and the callers to Allah (subhaanahu wa Ta’aala) to take advantage of every opportunity and convey the dawah using all possible legislated means, which are abundant, and all praise is due to Allah. It is not befitting for them to refrain from calling to Allah and teaching people. People these days accept whatever they are told whether it is good or evil. So the people who possess knowledge of the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sal-Allahu ‘alyhi wa sallam) should take advantage of this opportunity and guide people to good upon a strong foundation built upon the book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sal-Allahu ‘alyhi wa sallam). Every one of the callers must be keen upon knowing and understanding the issues they are calling to, relying on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah, so that they do not call while being ignorant; rather it is imperative that they call with knowledge and insight.”
